Jonas's life stor, the very short version
When Jonas was 11 his Mum and Dad sailed him and his sister around the world from Germany to New Zealand on a boat. When they arrived he built a beautiful house on a hill in Pataua over looking the bay.
Shortly after he began building a giant luxury catamaran with his friends in a barn at the bottom of the hill. I remember going in there was like visiting an undercover alien space program. The boat was so futuristic and made Jonas look like a young astronaut from Nasa.
When his Dad died Jonas and his Mum carried on the project, never having built a boat before. It took them 8 years. Putting it in the water was pretty tense.
